The SIPAB Business Summit in Berlin took place on 27 October 2023 at the H10 Hotel Ku’damm in
the German capital. This event was designed to support economic development and build the
capacity of businesses and entrepreneurs in Africa, especially women-owned businesses, by creating
a diverse networking space for them to connect and share new information.
Our expectations were exceeded as thirty-four representatives from Africa, including countries such
as Ghana, Ethiopia and Nigeria, came together at the SIPAB BUSINESS SUMMIT BERLIN 2023. Key
players in the agribusiness sector discussed topics such as multilateral cooperation, food security for
Africa and the world, climate change and investment in agriculture.
Businesses included Vogdaya Farms, Intercontinental Group Ghana Limited, Zoe Natural Spices, PCM
Mushrooms Company, AJL Trading, Sofanyas Teka Import and Export and Tan Freight and Logistics
Limited.

The delegation of African companies had a 10-day industrial visit to organisations including the
Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development, Solar Kiosk GmbH, Domäne Dahlem and also
visited some retailers in Berlin to learn about product packaging and marketing.
